We have several chase vehicles specially designed based on the Motocrane Radical system. With our Cayenne GTS, modular pick-up and Can-Am Buggy you can film safely at speeds of up to 140km/h while controlling all crane, gimbal and camera functions from inside the vehicle.
Motocrane RADICAL was designed from the ground up to excel on rough terrain, at high speeds and even in water. With a payload capacity of 20kg with heavy load in its longest size, and 25kg in its most compact size.
The RADICAL Isolator features the familiar 3-axis passive damping for the Pitch, Roll and Z axes, featuring dual hydraulic dampers for the Pitch and Roll axes with an adjustable air damper for the Z axis.
Available INS 2 advanced stabilization allows RADICAL to maintain lift axis angle. This is especially important for off-road applications where the lens needs to “float” above the terrain with the subject.

The L/S Kit allows RADICAL w/ Heavylift to operate in 3 modes so you can optimize your build for every application.
Short Mode adds 10lbs of rated payload capacity to RADICAL at a reduced length of 9ft. This is helpful when larger payloads such as the MoVI XL are desired and the extended reach of RADICAL is not critical such as when mounted to a UTV or compact vehicle.
Standard Mode Standard mode the arm has a reach of 12ft with a rated payload capacity of 45 pounds. Useful for vehicles with normal measurements or when it is necessary that the arm does not protrude so much from the vehicle but we do not want to lose the entire range of movement.
Long Mode extends arm reach by 2ft for a total reach of 14ft with a rated payload capacity of 35lbs. This is especially useful for larger vehicles where added clearance is needed, or in applications where larger sweeping arm movements are desired such as using RADICAL as a motorized jib.
